Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to and use of Norskprøven Mock Exam (the "App"), provided by SmartPrep Labs LLP ("SmartPrep Labs", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

The App offers A1–B2 Norwegian practice, training plans, realistic mock rehearsals, progress tracking, transcription, handwriting recognition, and automated feedback. Practice percentages, predicted levels, and automated comments are learning aids only. We cannot guarantee admission, immigration eligibility, a certificate, or any particular examination result.

You remain responsible for checking current official exam rules, registration, dates, permitted materials, language requirements, and the result required for your individual purpose.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

An anonymous Firebase session may be created so that core functionality works before provider sign-in. You may link Google or Apple to preserve and restore data and to use purchases. You are responsible for maintaining access to your provider and store accounts.

You must not probe or bypass access controls, evade quotas, use modified clients or abusive automation, redistribute protected question banks or media, submit unlawful or infringing material, impersonate another person, or interfere with the App or its providers. We may restrict access or abusive traffic where reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

3. User content and automated feedback

You retain your rights in original text, audio, images, and other material you submit. You grant SmartPrep Labs and its processors a limited right to host, transmit, and process that material only to provide the requested features, secure the service, and comply with law. You must have permission to submit the material.

Automated grading, transcription, and OCR may be incomplete or wrong. Review recognized handwriting before it replaces a draft, and do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in practice answers.

4. Free access and subscriptions

The App may provide limited free practice and feedback quotas. Premium unlocks the full practice, training, and fixed mock catalog, premium media and explanations, higher automated-feedback quotas, and personalized weak-area drills.

The Apple App Store or Google Play purchase sheet displays the binding localized price, taxes, billing period, and any applicable offer before confirmation. The selected subscription renews automatically for the chosen period until cancelled in the applicable store account.

• Deleting the App or your learning account does not cancel a store subscription.
• Cancellation stops the next renewal; access normally continues through the paid period or a valid billing grace period.
• Refund eligibility and processing follow the applicable store policy and mandatory consumer law.
• Restore Purchases may be used with the applicable store account.

We may change future prices, features, or quotas with any notice and consent required by the store or applicable law. A confirmed paid period is not shortened solely because a later plan changes.

5. Availability and third-party services

Internet access, a supported operating system, provider availability, and a valid session may be required for synchronization, purchases, handwriting recognition, transcription, and automated feedback. The App relies on providers including Google Firebase and Google Cloud, RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, Groq, and OpenAI. Their applicable terms may also govern their services.

We may maintain, fix, update, replace, or discontinue features while respecting applicable consumer rights. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

6. Intellectual property

The App, software, interface, design, original learning material, scoring implementation, and protected media belong to SmartPrep Labs or its licensors. These Terms grant a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-commercial right to use the App for learning. Official names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the examination being prepared for.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guarantee that automated feedback is accurate or that you will achieve a particular result. SmartPrep Labs is not responsible for decisions made as if practice feedback were an official assessment.

8. Suspension, termination, and changes

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of a material breach, abuse, fraud, security risk, or legal requirement. We may update these Terms and will show a new update date and provide additional notice when required.

9. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections and any mandatory forum available in your country remain unaffected.
